// Mary Kate Anthony //
Asking for help and allowing someone else to solve the problem for me does not come naturally and easily for me. I am stubborn and independent and often believe the lie that I need to do it myself because otherwise it won’t be solved.
Hence the title of Our Lady Undoer of Knots has always pushed me out of my comfort zone a little bit more than her other titles. This one forces me to acknowledge that I cannot do it all on my own and that I, in fact, desperately need Our Lady’s help to untie the knots in my life and in the world. The more I have tried to untie them, the more tangled they have become.
I think we can all be in agreement that there are currently a lot of knots in the world, and I am certainly aware of many knots in my own life. Here at Arise, Beloved, we thought it would be fitting to pray the novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots together. For our world, for this ministry, and for each of our own private intentions.
We decided to start today, on the first day of Our Lady’s month, for a couple reasons. One) it seems fitting to start off the month of May with this act of complete surrender to Our Lady. Two) Today all the Bishops of Canada and the USA will be consecrating our two beautiful countries to Our Lady.
We will share the novena prayers on our instagram and facebook stories each day and save them in a highlight incase you miss a day. They are not very long prayers and you can chose to pray them at the beginning or end of a daily rosary or simply pray each day’s prayer on it’s own.
Our Lady Undoer of Knots, pray for us!
